Should I chase passion, or money and power, when it comes to a career?
I have things that delight me that aren't profitable AT ALL (sports/fitness, art)... but I also have a competitive streak where I get my kicks by competing, training/preparing, beating someone, wining, and reaping the rewards. i want to be ambitious, go balls out with my job, jump at any chance to take more responsibility / more dollars. It makes me feel masculine to work hard, get some money, and achieve a higher status and be better than the day before.
But smoking weed, listening to music and painting something shitty all day is equally enticing.
What do?
>get a job that pays well
>use the money to fund fun hobbies
>???
>profit

It's hard to say anon. I wish I could say do what you want it'll work out you'll be alright but we both know the world ain't always like that. So I'd say do what you're best at. It's probably because you have a vague passion for it. Also pic unrelated.

If your passion will provide enough to pay the bills, fucking go for it. You may never be rich, but you'll be happier doing what you love.

Money and passion. Power only puts you in the crosshairs of other sociopaths who want power.

In order for there to be wealth there has to be poor people. So do whatever the fuck you want me personally, I like music and I don't give a single fuck about money. If you like having stuff go for power. If you don't give a shit go for art.
