How the fuck am I supposed to choose a major?
I have no idea what I would enjoy doing for the rest of my life because I've never had any experience in any career field.
I'm currently a freshman and my intended major is mechanical engineering.
I have no fucking clue what the typical mechanical engineering major does for a job.
I only chose it because I was fairly good at math and sciences through high school, but now I realize I'm not.
I'm already struggling through precalc and I need A LOT more math classes.
I also don't want to live my entire life unhappy because I blew $80,000 on a degree that I hate.
I can feel myself losing motivation to do well because I don't know what I want when I'm done with college.
What do?

Not OP, but just like him I'm shit at math. What major would you recommend to someone like me?
Id go business. Make sure you specialize though, a general business degree or an mba means little these days unless you have a niche to fill. The only problem is the job market is extremely saturated with business majors, so do some research on specific strands like marketing and then commit to maintaining a high GPA.
Business, econ, or psych
Join the army, pussy, then figure it out after you come home.
