I went to a strip club once and got a private full nude lapdance. Had a good yarn with the girl and she said that at the club (which was one of the better ones in my city), *she* had to pay for the time/space to work there. I think it's a fine job to get into. If I were you, I'd do the following:

-Learn from those in the industry
If you know of blogs by strippers, maybe try contact them to ask them some questions/tips/things that they wish they knew when they started. Even ask about your asshole. I would also ask about societal aspects of working in the adul industry (ie how to deal with naysayers or social abuse etc, and even longterm social; career effects.)

-Learn as much as you can about the strip clubs in your area. What's the reputation? What's the management like? Do people like working there? Actually visit the clubs yourself as a customer.

-If you feel conscious about your weight, learn about fitness and specifically, fitness for women (there are different paradigms for different looks)

-Learn to dance professionally, and hone your craft. The better you are; the more professional you appear.

-Understand that as a woman, your physical value drops over time. Be prepared for, and accept this. I would personally try to make a decent amount of money in the adult industry and then try to use that capital to build up an income through finance and investment which i can either rely on completely when stripping dries up, or use to augment whatever other job i might have later. This will take a lot of research. Alternatively, can also try pay for higher education.

You will essentially be working in the night life industry; i think it'd make a lot of sense to understand about this first hand. Get someone to introduce you to alcohol; go out on the town a few times with friends. The point is to gain an understanding of the wider context in which you work. You don't need to keep drinking/partying etc - just do it a few times to understand. And have fun with it too if you can.
Stay the hell away from drugs though. You'll be exposed to it a bunch due to the circles you'll be in - be prepared for that.


In summary: Consider it all from an economical mindset. Do your research and prepare. If you're going to do it, then do it the best you can with professional development etc (like any career). Your appearance is an asset, and there's little reason to not monetize it, but know about the opportunity costs and long term effects.
