How do I prove I wasn't always mentally handicapped my family is dead set on this being true, I have a brain disease that has been advancing for years and nobody believes me it has left me handicapped unable to drive or work or remember anything, all my history of being not handicapped is erased also the disease is progressing which is why I am asking advice

How? What happens when you talk to your doctors? Your family might be gaslighting you, but the doctors don't do stuff like that.

his sounds like reason for them to believe your handicap has always manifested in some way, and only recently gotten worse.
What handicap do you have, if you don't mind me asking?

Not sure what your asking but I have read my neorologists files on me they say I have neurodevelopental issues and autism they use this to rewrite my history of ever being unhandicapped
