My friend was cooking a plantain and as they flipped one of the slices, it slipped and then splashed oil on their forearms.

Gf put tom's fluoride free toothpaste on it (bc it's basically peppermint oil) after running it under cold water for a while, but she still has a few blisters. It's eased the pain a lot. Not an emergency situation.

Use cling wrap to cover it it doesn't damage the skin and doctors can see under it without removing it.
Get some burn ointment and some wrap, try to keep the blisters from popping, they'll heal faster and be less likely to scar.
Cold water actually makes blisters worse, but I know it feels good. Next time, try pickle juice. It feels just as good, but it helps keep the damage low.

apply honey to it. make sure it's the real stuff, not that fake sugar pumped stuff you get in supermarkets.
I've used honey on all of my burns, it' s a great antiseptic and it helps heal the skin.
