If you suffer from high stress and insomnia, DONT ignore it. Go to the doctor immediately to treat your insomnia.

That shit gets WAY worse over time and causes other diseases. I ignored my insomnia for 10 years and it finally caught up to me. Fibromyalgia and alopecia areata. Both are not fun. Will kick you down for the rest of your life.

Sleep issues are the root of 80% of health problems later in life.

All those thoughts of self loathing and darkness aren't living reality. They're just horrible lies whispered and shouted in your mind. There are people out there who love you and care. It won't always be dark. And yes, the pain will be worth it.

I have generalised anxiety disorder . Can anyone suggest something full time low stress I can learn to get a decent job? I was thinking of finding a skilled trade but I don't know which one? Any tradies here to give me advice?

If you have a huge debt at the end of your college life, you'll never be able to pay off, because you chose the wrong major, then college isn't worth it. Otherwise do what>>18020458 said. Do what you like and what really interests you. There still might be the possibility that you become desilussioned, so it better be something that's atleast somewhat responsible

Don't get shotgunned into going to university. Take the time to figure out what you're good at, what you are passionate about, and what will make you money. Try to find something that combines at least two of these aspects and pursue that.

Be open to change and be mindful of opportunities. You can learn more about yourself while in school so be prepared to consider amending your plans.

If you possess unconventional views don't be afraid to voice them. Straying from acceptable viewpoints will be met with open hostility or alienation by a good number of your peers, but there will be those who wish to have constructive discourse with you.

If you have any desire of raising a family down the line, don't sleep around during university, spend time instead looking for eligible partners.
Your time in university will be one of the best times in your life to meet a potential partner as you are surrounded by people around your age who share similar interests. Work to quickly identify individuals who possess self respect, honesty, loyalty, and reliability.
