I'm not gonna buy a new arcade cabinet. For what it's worth, most normies have no clue about the autistic fanbase Sonic's built. They're just like "oh man I loved that on my Genesis when I was 7!"

It can be cool BUT - this is important - it has to match the rest of the room. If your furniture and room colors
match it you should go for it, I had one (make trax) for a long time, people loved it.

Also, make sure it isn't loud. Some of those arcade boxes hum really loudly when they're turned on, which isn't going to impress any guests.

My living room and the rest of the house are black brown and white, so it wouldn't totally match, but I don't think it'll stand out too bad - besides the blue.

I have it hooked up to a switch where it comes off unless someone is playing it. It can be pretty loud, plus I don't want to keep it on 24/7.

It depends on what type of a e s t h e t i c you are going for. You have to determine if an arcade cabinet fits as a part of your interior design, if you have one.
