Hello anons.
I feel like something is slightly off with me.
As a child, I enjoyed playing adventure video games, reading books, etc.
Now, as an adult, I avoid doing those activities for the most part. The only games that I can play are games like LoL, Smash, Overwatch, etc. Games that are short, repetitive, and offer little to no exploration. It's like I hate doing anything but going down that linear path to the finish.
I tried to replay games from my youth but I couldn't play them. I try to read for college, but I feel somewhat repelled from doing so. I'm getting by by winging it, but I feel like it's going to catch up to me.
I also feel like mentioning that my reading comprehension seems a bit poor currently. I'm missing little things on my exams and it's bothering me a lot. I know the subject and, had I received another shot at the question, would answer it correctly.
What could be my problem, anons? I don't know what's going on and I'm getting worried.

Sounds like you might need something to spice up your life.
your taste in entertainment just changed. chill the fuck out.
i can't play any of my childhood games for every long, and i feel like an impatient fuck on most new games too.
It's what happens to most people eventually. Pewdiepie recently made a video stating basically the exact same things you said. As a child you're naturally much more imaginative, curious and excited.

Seems like we're kind of alike. But I feel really excited for new games too, which is somewhat conflicting. So this is normal?
