Is trade school any good? Which field is the easiest to learn, makes the most money, and quickest to get a full time job in?
I've been going to NOVA community college after high school for over 2 years now and I haven't done shit. Online classes are shit and I can't learn anything from most professors. Plus I started working part time at fast food almost a year back and its been slowing me down. Spent so much time just trying to figure out what to even get a degree in.
>Programming/Computer science
Couldn't learn shit, too confusing, too frustrating, solve one problem, get 5 more. I kept trying to just copy paste code which just made things harder
>Art
I do have experience with Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, and just drawing on paper. Started back in early high school. I like doing this sort of thing in my spare time, but problem is how the fuck do I make money with an art/design degree?
>General studies
Pretty much the quickest degree I can get but again wut do for monies?
At this rate I'm it will take a few more years to even finish general studies, and parents can't work forever. I'm just tired of throwing hundreds of dollars for nothing and want a decent job that pays well and can live off of once my parents leave this world.
carpentry is easy to get into
millwright makes most money of carpenters but is harder to get into and work isnt as steady
wireman (indoor electrician) is a valiant pursuit that pays even better.
unions will train you for free usually, just have to get in and that can be tricky.

The world will always need plumbers, carpenters, construction workers, bus drivers, truck drivers, barbers, mailmen, cops, firemen, auto mechanics, factory workers, etc etc etc

Machining.
Finding a place that teaches it well is tricky though. Lots of expensive equipment required.

This guy is spot on. Electrician here.
Realize this: it will be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time before robots can do things like building frames, wiring, planning/building shops.
