How to get better at job interviews?
The first job interview I did a few years ago got me the job.
The company went bankrupt and now I'm looking for a new job.
I've been through 20ish interviews. The interviewers always look bored, especially if it's a panel interview, most of them are twiddling their thumbs or on their smartphone. I started wearing a suit around the 12th interview, but it doesn't seem to have made the interviewers react better.
If you're getting interviews, they know you can do the job, it's just now up to you to show them that you're the right person for the job and that you really do want the job.

Come early to the interview, sit tight, take hold, thunder roaaaaad !

realize a goal you want to establish as far as salary goes or anything like that. then, start building the image that you are worth that from the get go. see it as a challenge, and, eventually, you'll get over this insecurity and start feeling confident about yourself.

It sounds like you are passively waiting to answer their questions and not showing any personality.
You are there to sell a product - you. You have to become the active star of the show. Don't just answer questions - make each one an opportunity to make a pitch for your product.
Their thinking is that if you don't have enough energy and motivation to sell yourself, you are not going to be motivated to work hard for them.

If it seems after a while that they are not interested, just say:
"You have interviewed a lot of people already, and have probably found someone you like to hire. If that is right, there is no reason for me or you to waste our time here. I'm clearly qualified, so how is it going to be, do i start monday, or should we call it a day?"

For the xth time, yes, you have to sell yourself.
One thing that's worked for me is when they ask me if I have any questions, i ask back what it is exactly they're looking for. How many people do you think care enough to ask and sell themselves by evaluating the interviewer's needs? Most people are too worried about themselves to do so, or not confident enough to consider themselves the right candidate. Why even attend the interview at that point?
Getting the job is closing the deal. So you have to wham bam thank you mam all of their thoughts until they have NO reason not to hire you right then and there. Never ever sell yourself short. If you wouldn't buy yourself who will? It's sell or be sold.
