by first realizing that the point of an interaction is not to hold a conversation, but rahter to see if they are worth holding a conversation with. some of them aren't. and as a result, they wont. just becuase you initiate doesn't mean you are there to be judged. its just two people talking. if it doesn't go anywhere it doesn't mean anything.

just because normal people don't doesn't mean normal people can't. the point here is to work your way up to an actual conversation, and saying hi to someone wont have any consequences unless you go up to the biggest baddest looking tyrone and wave in their face.
