Organizing Images

put all the images in a rar file and give it to us.

My advice is not to use a preview icon based file manager. Use a text based tool. Loading and or generating all those icons might make things slow.

Picasa is absolute shit for certain file types. It will completely exclude certain psds for no reason at all. Maybe it's gotten better, who the fuck knows. There won't be a good way to organize them until better image searching tools are developed. Only way is to manually tag all your photos...

I have actually thought about hiring someone to do that for me. Like, that poor fucking bastard would have to go through 500k+ images to tag anything of interest in them.
