This might sound corny as hell, but if the bad feelings are getting bigger, do the following:
Check if you're thirsty. If so, drink some water.
Check if you're hungry. If so, have something to eat.
If you haven't been outside all day, go for a 10 minute walk
If you haven't spoken to anyone in a while, reach out to someone. Doesn't need to be anything heavy, going to /b/ and calling someone a faggot works as well.
If you can be arsed to exercise, do some push-ups, a couple of squats, maybe go for a jog

This won't make the bad feelings stop, but it'll help managing them.
