Lately, my family and I have been having a lot of electrostatic charge in our body and I don't know where it has came from. I tried to search down on the internet for answers, but I only found stupid school experiments. I know that this is a bit odd and even silly, but I can't help but worry about my family knowing that, sometimes, pushing the button of an elevator or touching the mobile phone can result mortal if you have a lot of electrical charge. That's why I need help.

What did he mean by this?
Electrostatic shock cannot harm you enough to do any damage.
are you guys wearing sneakers and synthetic fabrics?
happens to me a lot if i wear that stuff in winter when the air is dry.

No, we aren't. We wake up in the morning and every time me or my family touch a metal, it hurts us. When I'm sleeping and I change my posture, thing that seems like "sparks" jump.

then it's your bedsheets or your blanket/pillow or even your matresses that are synthetic. guess using a humidifier might get rid of the problem

Seconding this advice. Way more static in heated houses with low humidity. You might try switching to 100% cotton sheets if your sheets have a high % of polyester, too.
