I need advice. Should I ask /adv/?
t. no friends
you are already asking...
You should only ask if you're capable of understanding that everybody here is some random anon just like you who may or may not be equipped with the wisdom or experience to actually help with your problem, and may have motivations for posting that don't always have your best interests at heart, like projecting their own problems onto you or intentionally misleading you for lulz. There's a wide range of people on here but the one thing we've got in common is we're on 4chan, and that can say something about a person. So you gotta take it all with a big grain of salt and sort through the bullshit and really reason out what is actually potentially helpful.
At the same time, though, you'll never benefit from advice if you don't step out of your mindset a little to take others' feedback and really listen to the advice offered over just picking out what it is you want to hear.
