no but you need to be able to get very good grades and plan on not working until you're like 35
late? no
it does take a long time though so you cant really work a lot for the next 10 years

Nah man, it's never too late, just follow your dreams man.
I'm a 20 year old premed student and I know a guy who started his bachelor's when he was 25, now 27, on the same track as me.

Not at all.
Though why do you want to be a doctor?
You could become a PA which will treat and diagnose many things in patients and start out above 60k. You dont even need a bachelors degree. It is recommended but only a handful of classes with 2-3 years experience within a training program will be more than enough.
I have even heard of all inclusive 2 year programs at community colleges. And you start above 60k with the ability to work your ways to 110k+

I seriously don't know why the US adopted the Graduate Medicine system and don't offer Medicine as an undergrad course.
nah man, being a doctor is one of those things that you will do well no matter what.
there are certain areas where the labor market is narrow and competitive enough for age to be one of many things detrimental to your overall chances of succeeding in it, along with everything from where you went to school to your appearance, and certain areas where age is a factor because certain faculties decay wth it, like maths and shit.
but medicine? you're good
