I am a virgin.

I was morbidly obese from a young child up until I turned 22. Something clicked in me and I lost over 100kgs. (200ish pounds).

My skin has tightened back and today I look like a normal person, I have no problem going out in public anymore, people don't stare, I can see my friends now.

But regarding women and dating, I still feel like the disgusting fat pig I used to be, the confidence is hard for me to gain, now. I try hard, and I do go out on dates, hook up and make out with girls.. but when it comes time to head back to my place I always, without fail, make up a reason why I can't that night and I don't see them again.

I understand if you feel weird around virgins, but some times there are reasons other than being.. I don't know... a creep? A freak?

I think you can love and be devoted to a cause fully, no reason to pigeon hole yourself. Also consider this, emotional is a very capable evolutionary tool that promotes family, close bonds, and altruistic qualities towards one another. This is a double edged sword however that can destroy as much as it builds, manipulation of those emotions gave us many of the pleasantries we have today.
