Have 20 seconds of bravery and something good will come out of it. Count to 3 and do what you most do.
Think about how no one will know nothing about you like 50 years after your death, so what you do, does not really matter.
Don't take yourself too seriously, allow yourself to be humiliated, no one will remember it in a day or two.

confidence is the belief in the truth of something.

so there need sto be some truth to be confident in. no one has all emcompassing confidence.

the guy who is confident in asking out the girl isn't confident that he can beat up the other guy asking out the girl, or pass his test, or get the job.

so what can you be confident about? well your natural skills, but also in society and social norms and whatnot.

the truth is that most of what people get upset about arent worth getting upset about. the saying 'no use crying over spilled milk' comes to mind. if you ask out a girl and she says no you act like its the end of the world.

whereas soemone you consider 'confident' gets rejected WAY more than you but it doesn't bug him.

cuz he knows that rejection isn't someone saying 'YOU ARE OBJECTIVELY BAD OTHERWISE I WOULD DATE YOU'. its a mismatch.
