I got talking to a girl online and when my band played her city she said she'd come out to meet me.

There was loads of .. ha soo nervous, ha ha oh I'm just out with my friends and they are being like, noo we don't want to go there ha .. beforehand which I took as a sign she might be a no show.

Anyway long story she did come out (on her own and with a weird make over) and meet me. She was 200lb and 6'2" and didn't have friends. She was pretty much the complete opposite of the kind of girl I'd usually go for.

She was so painfully awkward that I switched off any sarcastic defensive attitude of my own and decided to just risk being completely genuine in an attempt to hang out and see what happened. After a while I thought it was worth an attempt to try and fuck her.

Many hours later back at hers post coital I was playing with her hair and looking at her giant body and she was making this a quiet REEEEEeeeee noise while pinching me. I reflected on just how clumsy and weird she was and how many drinks she'd spilt and how many spergtastic things she'd done I started to think she was kind of cute.

I'd say why assume you know the future and if you don't have anything better to do let it progress naturally. You might really like her, or you might not,she might be an interesting distraction.

If I were in your shoes OP, I'd run away fast. The novelty of an XD nerdy girl is going to wear off sooner than you think - and you note that you're trying to mature yourself right now.

I mean, I don't think that acting like an adult for the sake of acting like one is the right move in life, but yeah, acknowledging that you're going to have responsibilities and need to be prepared for them to some degree is smart. She seems like the kind of girl who is afraid to acknowledge that.

Plus, I think going in with the mindset that you're going to change her, especially when it comes to weight, is a bad omen. That rarely works.
