Factoring out trinomials is more like arithmetics tho. Just keep doing it until you see a pattern

OP, I assume you're getting bogged down in arithmetic and expansions. It's a pain in the dick, but honestly practice is the best way to feel less shitty about it. The faster you can do the arithmetic, the less tedious it will be. Do you know your multiplication tables very well? Practicing those is astonishingly under appreciated these days. You can find amazing patterns in them.

I loved math and am now unemployed with a math degree.
