What drug (legal or illegal) :
nullifies traditional depression symptoms,
and increases focus and reduces the brain fog that comes with depression. Don't want to go to a doctor and get put on a damn list or get diagnosed with something that will fuck up my life.
Cocaine
Fluoxetine

Caffeine (or whatever drugs are in energy drinks, forget the name).
I'd stick with caffeine though. Seriously, it increases my motivation and my mood every time I drink coffee.

Smoke more pot
I used brain force plus for a bit. It's like a long caffeine high without the crash. May get your heart pounding though.

incorrect, caffeine is directly linked to stress. for whatever reason, caffeine triggers stress in most individuals, which isn't usual for stimulants in general. people who drink tons of coffee don't do so because they're stressed, they're more liable to get stressed because they smoke more coffee. coffee works because it, on top of being a stimulant, triggers the fight or flight response, which I guess in more confident people will mean fight and in most situations will mean "do the work" rather than "literally fight a nigga"

How is what I said about caffeine incorrect? It still fits all his conditions for a drug.
What you said was interesting though, I'll take note of it.

I use adderall! I got a comorbid diagnosis of ADD inattentive subtype, but my psychiatrist and I aren't really sure if it's just because of my depression or whatever. We're just throwing drugs at me and seeing what sticks.
Adderall really helps me be a functional human being. The antidepressants make me feel better about myself, but they don't really make me functional the way that adderall does.
same problems as you anon, I'm using phenibut (2 times a week) and kratom (rest) both legal, depending on where you live, relatively cheap and amazing effects
Kratom
