How likely is it that I would be able to get an extension on an electric bill if it's my first time needing to do so?
Will I need some sort of story to do so? I've got a good one in that case.

You can probably just skip one month and pay the double bill in full next month.

but if you want to call and ask for an extension they'll give it to you, its normal. ypou're not the first guy to blow all his cash on coke.
i honestly though i was on /x/ that melatonins hitting me hard

All these people are wrong, missing a bill negatively affects your credit score. I'd call your bank or the company to find out what options they offer.

>missing a bill negatively affects your credit score
It really doesn't, not if you speak to them and let them know the situation and work out a payment plan. If you ignore it, then it becomes a problem, but as long as everyone knows what the deal is, it's fine.

idk man, being late with one payment? most credit companies will go MONTHS or even over a year before they'll report it on your credit score.
despite not paying it for six months my score was still 700...
if anon needs an extension its not that big a deal.
