Should I cancel my date? There is apparently a winter storm warning until 9pm. My date is at 4pm.
It's supposed to be 4-8 inches of snow over the course of 11am-9pm.
Should I just cancel? I live in New England but only recently started driving(I am 26). I don't have much experience driving in snow yet.
My question is... would you cancel? I don't want to seem like a pussy to her. But at the same time... I know my limits and this may be slightly beyond that. I am not familiar with the part of town we would be going to either.
Help.

No. If it does snow, it'll make it all the more romantic, and then just take your sweet time going home.
also, you don't have to bump so much, /adv/ is one of the slowest boards on this site and its one of the boards most people use the catalog function on.
Reschedule. If she isn't understanding or criticizes you then she isn't worth your time. If she's around your age she should understand. It's fucking cold outside anyway, even in Texas. I can only imagine how cold it is up there.

OP is a novice driver. He shouldn't be driving in inclement weather conditions putting other drivers at risk. Especially putting his date at risk. People become incredibly bad drivers when the weather turns to shit.

Hmm OP here.
I understand what you are saying. I know I drive safe but not sure if other drivers.
I just really wanted this date to happen. Fuck.

You should. The chick may even respect you more for being sensible and you will be up to your nuts in guts in no time!
