What I was trying to point out is not that men dislike the idea of women liking any man other than themselves, let alone having slept with a man other than themselves (which is well known, always worked this way, and will likely never work differently either so yes, best to try to live around/with it) but rather that they seem to not realize at all that on a psychological level some of those "horrible" things are pretty human and normal.
