What alcohol is the best to get drunk with fast and as cheap as possible? I've been drinking with some friends alot recently because one of their gf's is here from america, and I've had to shill out about £50 on jagermeister. I usually go through about half a 70cl bottle each night, which cost about £18 each. I used to drink vodka but ended up getting a bit of a gag reflex from it, plus jegar doesn't taste as bad. Is vodka really the only way to do it cheap?

Put a lemon in it or something. Also experiment, even on low budget there is quite the variation from "brake fluid" to "kinda alright".
grape crush+vodka. thank me later.
I have no idea what that is

Shitty vodka is the cheapest way to go, but damn is that stuff rough. Always gives you the worst hangovers too. If you must drink it then get some cheap ass store brand OJ or something to mix it with at least. Alternatively drink better stuff, but less of it. Usually you have a better time with just a slight buzz going.

Vodka or higher proof spirits (i.e. Everclear grain alcohol) are probably your best bet. You can find cheap booze in anything though: whiskey, rum, gin is a bit pricier i believe, but really its not too difficult at all. I would also suggest against mixing especially with high sugar tonics because it will exacerbate your sickness and sense of shame the day after. I'd honestly suggest vodka (svedka, smirnoff, and ruskova especially).

let's be honest, if someone is looking to get drunk as fast as possible, then "having a good time" is probably a minor concern.
Also don't exclude wine, OP. You can get a good enough bottle for $10 and that's all you really need for a night if you are drinking by yourself. Just have some self respect and don't purchase any malt liquor or something that comes in a plastic bag.
