I've only ever been really in love with one person who was my exact ideal. Everyone else that I try to allow myself to start something with just never matches up, even though they are great in their own ways.

Perhaps it's a question for another thread but:

Why do so many women prefer "dominance"? I get wanting a guy who's confident and can take care of himself but it seems like a lot of them want it form a man because they can't/won't do it themselves, unless I'm wrong. Anyhow...

My cardinal rule for relationships is pretty straightfoward: I don't ask for something I can't provide myself. I mean, we don't have to be identical, but for a lot of things I want equality. Fitness, intelligence (not talking about college education), independence, passion for hobbies. She has to have something going for her other than being pretty, and not being annoying.

I'd also like somebody who is confident; I don't want to have to be uber confident because she is insecure as fuck and wants to get "lost in my masculinity". I had a relationship like that and it drained the life out of me.
