Short, dark-skinned people are the real struggle, you have to make up for it with personality and looks.

Theres nothing too ugly that can't be fixed with some cremes, dental hygiene and finding your style. If you want to grow your hair out, cut it in a way that it suits your face. Besides, not all faces suit every hair style. I look disgusting with long hair because I've got a massive face, but shorter hair and I'm not too bad.

Emphasise the good stuff and hide the bad stuff is the aim of the game.

It's a uphill battle and it's tiring. I'm jealous of those people with perfect skin and no relevant health issues. I'm 6'1 but nothing else to go with it. Even my fucking face is ugly and skewed.
