What the fuck is going on and what should I do to relieve it?
I had soreness of my soft palate a couple days ago, but just figured it was a sore throat, as I felt feverish. I decided to take a look in the mirror today and was greeted by pic related. I've had congested/runny nose and my sinuses feel odd. It hurts to swallow, but I've been drinkin ginger tea, non-stop, in hopes of soothing my throat.
Does anyone have some expertise in this subject?

Drink some nyquil, or a few glasses kf whiskey and go to bed. Looks like a viral infection, or throat irritation. If it doesn't improve by tomorrow night with rest and frequent use of tylenol (or dayquil, dealer's choice) then go to the doctor.

The human body is tougher than you think. If it's bad then the doctor will perscribe you some medicine. If it's worse (unless you chee tobacco unlikely) then you might need more sophisticated treatment.
