Don't be born with the genetic markers for psychopathy

It's a physical abnormality, not a personality you develop

Being a psychopath also doesn't necessarily mean someone is mean or bad or evil. It just means they lack certain emotional responses and empathy. That kind of person can still act morally correct based on intellect as opposed to emotion.

Neither Psychopath nor Sociopath are actual diagnoses, they are idiomatic terms that both represent the same disease: antisocial personality disorder.

Those with APD typically lack a capacity for empathy and experience a blunted affect excepting in the case of frustration and anger.

Regardless, you cannot "become" a psychopath. You are born one.

Sociopathy is caused by both genetic and environmental influences. Even though you may be born with weak genetics regarding sociopathy, your environment growing up can make up for what you lack genetically. Psychopathy is slightly different and is mainly genetic.

You're mistaken. What you've said applies to Schizophrenia, not APD.

And again: Sociopathy and Psychopathy are not medical terms or diagnoses. They both refer to APD.
