Where do I look for jobs apart from the internet?
Go to places you might like working at, ask for application
There's probably some unemployment place that can help you get a job too.
It's 2016 and you dont.
Only other acceptable way is to network at social gatherings.

>Go to places you might like working at, ask for application
this except ask for the manager and when they turn you down ask if they know anyone hiring
Of all the places I've applied online, The Home Depot is the ONLY place that called back. They have a corporate office dedicated to the hiring. They give you a reference number after you apply. It takes a while though, but they get to you if you apply.
Lots of cities/counties put on job fairs in the local convention centers. Google to see if any are coming up.
>shower, shave, brush/floss teeth
>wear a suit
>bring a nice folder with at least 10+ copies of your updated resume
>practice a 30 second intro about who you are and what you're looking for
Should be good to go.
>I apply for a job at McDonald's
"Do you have a minimum five years experience working at McDonald's?"
"I cook burgers at home all the-"
"You have to be paid or else it's not experience."
"Then no, I have cooked burgers professionally for only four and a half years."
"Get out. Now."
