How would one effectively go about finding and soliciting a therapist who is willing to conduct sessions using MDMA or other psychedelic compounds such as LSD?
Having experienced MDMA several times over this last year (mostly during raves or shows) and experiencing how it can allow you to near effortlessly dip down into and vocalise old memories and deeply internalised thought processes, I'm convinced that the theraputic effects of the substance used in conjunction with more traditional psychotherapies would be near perfectly effective.
I’m not a PTSD / abuse sufferer or anything like that (I know that this is what most experimental trials of this kind of therapy is aimed at right now) - I’m just trying to kill my crippling performance anxiety and fear of faliure which Is robbing me of my potential which I KNOW lies in abundance within me. I can see the roots and causes of these fears during meditation and MDMA goes a step further and actually allows me to physically feel and express them as intimately as I believe is possible, but it’s the actual releasing / purging of these fears once found that I believe an effective therapist will play the crucial role.
I live in London but am willing to explore potential avenues within the UK.
Feel free to discuss your thoughts or opinions on MDMA or other psychedelic therapies if you want too. Thanks
Reminder that drug threads are first to be analyzed by feds. Don't reply.

Are you sure? I know I've seen drug related threads on this board countless times. In fact I'm pretty sure there is a cocaine use thread on the front page right now..
If this is bad though, can we just narrow discussion down to peoples thoughts on this kind of therapy rather than the actual acquisition of it?

Worked for me when getting through a break up. Especially when your best friend is also on it, never had better talks than those in my life.
What about LSD and psychedelics in general? How does it compare therapeutically to an empathegenic like MDMA?
