I'm currently in school for Medical Technology. Is it worth it to continue school, studying a Pathology Assistant program ending with a Masters in Health Science?

I believe PA's make around 75-100k+ , while MT do around 40-60k.

The only problem is that I would have to go into debt around 100k to afford it. As Duke is the closest university to me, with around 45k a year for tuition and room/board.

"The average pay for an Attorney / Lawyer is $80,035 per year"

I know a lawyer that only makes about $30K/year. Just because it says the "average for X job" doesn't mean you'll make that much. Most of the time it takes experience and years to get to that wage. You'll be up to your eyeballs in interest at that point. Quit letting that influence you so much. Obviously it is because you made a point to reference what you think that job earns...

Idk about job competition in your state, but where i live getting your PA license only requires an associates from a community college. Which is far less than 20k let alone 100k. They also make the same salary in the area 75k-100k.

No going into 100k debt for the job that makes 75-100k

ok still 100k debt is a huge pile of cash

you need to be absolutely sure you can get a job very soon after graduating, which means you will get all As in your classes right ?

good luck !
