I literally cannot be friends with anyone who's uglier than me. Whenever I'm talking to them I just feel disgusted somehow and think to myself "I should really stop talking to this person". Just the other day, me and an online friend I've been talking to for months finally did a videocall, and she looked so much uglier than her pictures, that I started ghosting her right after the call ended. I didn't even intend to date her, I was just her friend. But I can't have ugly friends because they disgust me and make me feel ashamed of myself if someone ever sees me with them in public.

The issue here is that if you keep this up, you will always be the ugliest person in your social group, which may well lead to them treating you in the same way you're treating other people.

I know, but how can I stop myself from feeling physically ill whenever I'm talking to these people? I always fake-smile and try to be as nice as I can, I know I'm an asshole for thinking this way, but I'm not gonna be open about it. Still, I think they can tell sometimes.
