What do you mean by crybabies?
I know that most of my fellow undergraduate """"scholars"""" tend to bitch and complain all the time, and blame the professor if they get a low grade in a course.

short answer? More or less, yes
college is a weird transitional phase for a lot of people. You are not an adult, but you think you are because the stereotype as such. Youre at best just coming into your own and being "independent" like that gives people big heads. That couple with college professors telling you how the "real world works" even though theyre arguably not much better gets a lot of people to act political. Its really a perfect storm of too much ego, not enough experience to back it up.
Not every college is like that but most are and always have been, its sort of the point. Its just that until recently nobody cared what a hippy college shit heel said or did, and you could get away with offending them r telling them to shut the fuck up
this is just my personal experience though, just keep your head down and remain civil until you leave, most of what you learn there is useless anyway
