hey,
im going to a Islamic funeral on monday.
Im a kat. crist.
can ur give me any advice?
how does a islamic funeral differ from kat. christ. funeral.
how do i handle the situation in the mosk? should i pray the way i was teacht to pray or should i look for a place on the side and just pray in my inner mind? will there only be man the hole time? (a female frind of mine died.) Her famaly is turkisch mom alerviet dad shied or suni not sure.

Nicht laut weinen/klagen, das ist verboten. Ansonsten egal. Es gibt festgesetzte Regelungen bei der Beerdigung bezüglich des Betens, aber da musst du nicht mitmachen, außer vielleicht paar mal Amen zu sagen. RIP deine Freundin. Mann und Frau simd bei Gebeten getrennt. Aber das sid eh Aleviten, die trinken auch Alkohol. Benimm dich einfach und mach keine Frauen an.

Ask to one her of relatives how to act respectfully. Funeral traditions may varies from a country to another (because different imams, Sunnis or other sub-movements, etc.).

I'm Muslim, if it's the janazah prayer where they line up and have the body there then just stay off to the side and don't get in people's way.

If it's another ceremony, then just don't be an idiot. And don't pray with them if you don't want to, we wouldn't pray with Christians especially when they say in Jesus' name so they'll understand hopefully
