What do couples actually do together?

8 years (and one week!).
We went through a rough phase because we used to spend very little time together and got a bit bored, but we implemented it slowly over time and now it mostly works out.

For outings we do movies, restaurants, sometimes fast food and a drive, hikes, walks, and go to family and local shindigs.

For home stuff we do movies (again), music, games, cuddle, sex, fight over who gets to lay in whose lap, just fun stuff.

Sex, sex, more sex, dinner, drinks, coffee, hookah,

snuggle and read, go out to movies, visit friends, get some dinner, netflix, sex, hookah, coffee, pool, table top game (we discovered pandemic, she actually enjoys the Co-Op of it)

She's more quiet, but likes to be out, I'm more social but often like to stay in (Yeah, I know, super opposite. ).

No but seriously, there's something magical about the pairing. For some reason were so in sync on so much. It's been over 8 years and I see no reason for it to end. Good luck to you guys. If you can make it work you're in for some of the best life has to offer.

It's the best relationship I've ever been in. He gets me better than anyone I've ever met, he's surprising and interesting and it feels so good to have someone who is actually better than me at arguing. Ha.
It has been 8 years for us too, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

Anyway, he is having one right now - one of those adorable vocational crisis. But it's all good.
