We were decently close friends in high school, we took classes together enough to know each other and were in the same band section. I felt close enough to her to confess at one point, and she was perfectly friendly when we met at my work 619 days ago. We weren't close friends by most measures, but we also aren't complete strangers.

Also, I was trying to think of a lie to tell her how I got the number, obviously saying I combed a voter's database isn't going to win me any points.
