How many stem classes do you guys take over the semester I am thinking of taking 4 stems classes next semester but unfortunately I always end up failing one of them. How much stem csc classes do you guys normally take per semester?

I usually can't fit more than 3 into my schedule. Next semester I'm taking 4, but I might have to drop one if I can't keep up.
>>17856305
Only one or two, never more than that. I mostly try to see how many language and culture classes I can cram into my schedule.

Nobody cares how long it took you to graduate. 4 hard STEM classes is a recipe for burnout, especially with how many of them are unnecessarily difficult gatekeeper courses rather than legitimate attempts to teach material.

>I always end up failing one of them
well maybe try taking 3 next time eh ?

Is it worth getting into debt over a it related career?
>>17856375
absolutely depending of course on how much debt you mean
college grads in c.s. or it can make good $$

serious question, is majoring in engineering a bad choice overall? I thought it would be a slam dunk idea and id have lots of options but Ive been told its the opposite
God I can't take more than 2 or 3, and I'm a chem major. I'm working on my study habits though. I feel like anxiety/depression is why I can't handle a heavy work load and if I solve that I can do better in school.
>>17856575
Not at all. People will hire engineer majors for non engineering work just because it's a tough field and they know you can't be a complete shithead if you were able to graduate.

I took 4 STEM courses this semester.
2 of them were the popular "weed out" classes.
Fuck that. Never will I do this again.
It was awful and I'm failing one for sure.

GAH that is exactly the class I have a final in tomorrow. Will not be sad to never touch the topic again.

STEM education- killing curiosity and passion for science for the nth year running!
>>17856575
If you major in physics, you get to make fun of engineering majors.
>>17857906
why?
Engineering seems more useful.
>>17857986
I think it just STEMs from engineering being more about making a buck or two and physics being about learning for the sake of learning.
>Physics majors think they're better because they're in it because they're passionate. So they think engineers are idiots who only care about the salary.
