But how do I know if I'm lactose intolerant?

I recently turned 27, and lately i'm feeling really...gassy. I'm constantly farting and it's incredibly embarrassing because at my workplace I can't just open a window whenever I feel like it. I mean, otherwise I have no problems with my digestion. I'm Eastern European, is it possible that i'm lactose intolerant?

Possibly, but there are a ton of other things that cause gas - bananas, nuts, beans, etc.

Mainly breads and pastry, also lots of dairy - chocolate milk, cheese, puddings and some meat.

Drink a full glass of milk in the morning (fasting) and see what happens.
I have intolerance and this is my body's reaction: stomachache followed by diarrhea.

consider cutting out dairy for about a week to see if it gets better. than try dairy again to see if it gts worse.
