So I decided to start drinking a gallon of water a day because it apparently clears up your face pretty well acne wise. All I have at my disposal are Dasani bottles so I just wung it. I ended up having 12-15 bottles per day because that amount looked right. I would just refill them in my sink constantly. I noticed my acne disappeared completely 2.5 days after starting, and now my face is starting to look more elastic/young again, so obviously I thought I was doing it right. I find out a week after starting, today, that only 7 bottles equal a gallon. Just wondering if their are any health concerns for drinking 2 gallons of water like this in a day.

As for the water, if you feel fine I wouldn't worry about it... maybe eat more salt to balance out

Yes, that's too much water.
"Too much water" is a very rare thing to happen, but it certainly can happen. You'll be fine, as long as you cut down.
I'd say a little less than one gallon of water a day is the normal, ideal amount one should drink daily.

Overhydration can cause serious damage to your kidneys and liver.
A lot of how your kidneys can process water also determines how much water your body is using. If you're not active/not working out, it can be pretty easy to drink too much. Honestly a full gallon already sounds a little excessive. hyponatremia isn't something you want to fuck with, you can seriously hurt yourself.

If you drink a ridiculous amount of water in a short time and don't pee, you can actually die from it. Frat boys doing initiation rituals have killed themselves with too much water before.

there can be health concerns. you can die from too much water. but you're not dead. nothing long term can happen. just don't do it again.
just stick to 1 gallon. any excess, if you don't die first, is just pissed out anyway.

Holy shit everyone with the scare tactic. OP is at risk of water poisoning which only happens if you drink water faster than you can piss. As long as he is spreading out his gallons hes fine. I drank 5-6 liters of water a day is college and ran. I even drank more than 1 liter within an hour while I was running. Its fine just listen to your body. If you feel pressure in your stomach you went to far.
