I've been talking to a girl a tiny bit the last few days, hardly anything at all. Yesterday we met up to study together for finals about about an hour and a half. It went ok, a little awkward at times, but we were both getting to know each other and she was asking some questions about me like if I had siblings, a job, and just random things about me. I told a few short stories of crazy stuff I've done and she laughed at some and seemed to be surprised at how different I am from what she expected (I'm real quiet in class). Anyway at the end when we were leaving I asked if she'd like to hang out again sometime after finals. She said "yeah sure," but not in a mumbling uninterested way and shortly followed with a very cheery "bye anon!" How am I supposed to ask her out? A few close friends of mine often go out to eat and invite me to go, and I was thinking about asking her to come with me. Does that sound awkward? It'll be me, two guys, one of their girlfriends, and hopefully the girl I am interested in. I have never done this type of thing. Help a sperg out.
I like 'x' place, lets go.

That's absurd. It will never work.

tell us more about her. what are her interests

i think inviting her to one of those things works well. it's a group of friends, adding another person to the group should be fine.
you don't know why she 'mumbled' in an 'uninterested' way. could be that she had something on her mind. could be she's busy and would struggle to fit you in at that time. could be that she's disappointed to have to wait. you don't know, so don't think anything of it.
just invite her to the thing and hang out.

You're a big guy

She didn't mumble or anything. It was just sort of neutral, but her cheery good bye was uplifting.
The people I'll be going with are only my friends though. She doesn't know any of them. Won't that be weird or is that ok?

I didn't really ask about her hobbies. I should have, but we only talked about things people don't really do together. She lit up a little bit when I mentioned I like South Park, we both are sort of interested in martial arts, and a few other non social date type of things.
