I just found out I'm gonna have an extended period to visit my family around Christmas time. Problem is I HAVE to fly, too far to drive.
The issue is that it is so expensive. My father will help pay for the ticket, but I want to help him find as good a deal as possible.
Any websites I should check out that will have a decent price?

weekdays are always cheaper obviously so plan your schedule around a Wednesday or something like that. the cheapest tickets ive gotten are from Travelocity but you should just try them all out.

The only issue is that it is near Christmas, so it doesn't make any difference in price.

Fuck off, I know about Expedia and Hotwire and all that shit, I was asking if anyone knew of a lesser known option. Obviously I've exhausted my efforts (all 5 websites I checked out had the same flights for the same price, no variation or deals) , otherwise I would not have made this thread.

Nearly impossible this late but next time

Maybe there's some "trick" someone knows so here's a bump

google flights has yielded the best results imo. they are like many of the other services out there, but because their busienss doesn't rely solely on airline tickets they don't force you into a box.
its very flexible and simply set up way to view all the available options.

It is a hard to navigate site, at least on mobile. Seems more of a really last minute website, like booking tomorrow type deal. When I'm off work I'll try to access it again on my desktop.

I hope not, at least Southwest has some tickets, albeit expensive as fuck. But it looks like this late notice I'm not finding stuff for less than $900
Thanks.
