As an atheist, how can I live a meaningful life without nihilism and existential dread

I'll assume you don't wanna start a flame war here, but be careful, a lot of wars have been sparked in the last few days.
To your question: You don't have to believe in God to be happy. You can do stuff to make people happy and be happy by doing stuff you like. Doesn't matter "why", we exist and we can have fun in life. Let's do it.

Accept the fact that this is the only life we have and cherish it while you can.
Is this a real question?

What does nihilism even mean?
Meaning and purpose are our reactions to life and not a part of the outside world, just like how sweetness isn't part of a candy bar, sugar is but there is no sweetness in the bar.
Life CANNOT have objective meaning, even if there was a god. Because meaning is just a reaction of a conscious mind.

You'll get spammed by religious roleplay shitposting, for even having mentioning atheism.
