Regarding your question, I don't actually know what's expected on a first date myself, but I can speak on exclusivity.

You shouldn't be going on dates with too many guys at once, because it makes you look like you aren't interested in long-term relationships and are just using the guys for dates.
Which might not be true, but that's what it looks like.
You should probably not be going on dates with other guys if you've been on a second date with a guy and still like him.

Really depends on cultural factors so hard to say without knowing that, but some general points

Put an effort in, it's not up to just the guy to make the experience enjoyable.
As for whether you should pay that really depends, however I would at least offer to pay but if he insists then let him do it.
At your age dating is pretty casual so better to go to places like coffee shops, parks, bars, movies etc. rather than formal restaurants.
As for contact afterwards don't overthink it, avoid getting into complicated games about how long you should wait before replying, hiding interest etc., if you enjoyed the date and want to see the guy again, let him know.
If it didn't go so well then have a think about it before you commit either way. Sometimes you don't click right away but with some persistence things can get good, other times it's best to cut your losses and avoid wasting time on a dead end.
Finally don't beat yourself up if things go wrong, it takes two to tango and a bad experience is never entirely one person's fault.
