I need to find my place in the world or it will kill me
I'm 20-something, and every around me is slotting away into normal lives, but I just can't do it
I never did well in school, never got into college
never had relationships with girls, these days I'm barely interested in them at all
I'm working menial jobs I hate, alongside people who just switch their brains off for hours
some people had passions they could turn into careers, but not me
I traveled, but never found anything out there that grabbed me
brushed with drugs and crime, they got some of my friends but I stayed out of it
people say I'm an army kind of guy, but between the poor culture/low pay/minimum service period it's just not worth
I know it's a broad question to ask strangers, but even if you dont have an answer some indication of how to work it out for myself would be great

It's not a definite thing but a jumping off point
The best thing that worked for me is just trusting my gut and doing what I like
Life is a little bit like Tetris, you can only see the next block and stack one by one

I took some career tests back in school
one scored anomalously, one said I should be in a leadership position, one said I should be an accountant
I'l give it a try, thanks anon

Not everyone is meant for college - no, that sounds too judgmental, let me rephrase it.
College can't offer everyone what they need.
Maybe you will be a happy, fulfilled person in some field that isn't academic. The world will always need expert plumbers. And electricians, bus drivers, barbers, cops, mailmen, truck drivers, construction workers, shopkeepers, firemen, etc - all respectable and well-paying professions.

Yea definitely give it a shot
This one is really the best one I've seen that's free and high school to college aged you change a lot so your results will probably be different

everything takes work. life can't be just pure childish fun.
but you can find jobs that arent soul sucking. everyones different, but you have to experiment.
I prefer office work. its a nice calm relaxing enviornment, i spend most of it alone, can dick around on the net inbetween missions and i just flourish applying creative ideas to a business strategy.
my roommates prefers owrking at restaurants. he likes to be on his feet, high energy, talking to all these people.
find where you're not going to suffer miserably, put in time there, then explore passions outside of work.

Then don't join the army. Consider the Air force or Navy. Will make friends, see the world, learn a trade. Better than where you are now.
