What makes you think you're supposed to have your whole life planned out at 18. The WHOLE point of CCs and the first two years of a 4-year college is to let you shop around among the required courses to see what, if anything, interests you.

And here's a big secret your high school counselors didn't tell you - what you ultimately major in matters a whole lot less on the job market than you think. Except for a few technical areas a major in Anything has almost as good a chance at a job as a major in that specific field.

That makes sense, but I'm just worried that I'll just fall behind. I know that depending on what I major in, I'll need to have contacts, internships, etc. I feel like if I take too long I'll amount to nothing. The classes I'm taking right now are for an AA, but I know that there aren't a lot of jobs that are decent in that degree program. I just don't know what to do, but I want to figure it out before it's too late
