When I drink/get high/listen to some passionate music---for a moment I become someone that I've always wanted to be, someone I've always wanted to be perceived as, I am my ideal self and my mind is like a well oiled machine and life is better and my mind is sharper, I have presence, and I achieve the best version of myself, essentially. How could I recreate this sober? I try and pick up on things that I could recreate sober, mannerisms and conversational skills, the way I talk and to best deliver myself, but it's not up to par to the real thing---when I am not sober. Any tips?

It'll hardly ever get to that level but you can take things from that state and transfer them to real life
Just close your eyes and imagine yourself ducked up in the past and how you felt
