Ritalin

I got diagnosed with ADD this year and went on ritalin for a while, but decided to stop

sure it made me work a little more effectively (obsessively) but my social skills went down, I felt a lot more tense, I'd sweat more and when it wore off I felt extremely depressed

it wasn't even a high dose, 30 mg max a day

Shit rots your brain kid. Sell your Ritalin if you have weak morals or ethics. destroy your Ritalin if you are a good person. Meditate, eat better and then better and ezcersize. Practicing focus will help you focus(meditation)

Hey anon, I was diagnosed with ADD back in the late 90's one of the first fucked elementary school kids in Gauteng to be diagnosed with it and not ADHD. I was on Ritalin from year 2 to year 10. Heres what happened to me, mental impairment [depression since early childhood] and disassociation while on the drug. Not only that but it was still be tested at the time of when i was on it. The physically part was only stunted growth. After numerous visits continuously to pediatricians to neuro specialists highly recommended to switch to a less harmful drug, my mother switched me to concerta from year 10 to year 12. I still believe to this day that I never needed it and just had difficulty learning in that type of school system and just needed to be taught differently [now completing my b/a in environmental science] but my parents tried so I give them credit for exploring everything they could back then. Also was mint being drug tested and it coming up with heroin which was pretty hilarious in school.

TLDR: it fucked my head up and almost made me a manlet.
