So I'm an average looking guy, 17, who is really confused. I'm 5'9", have a good number of friends, and get along with most people pretty well.
My problem is that I can't seem to get a girlfriend. Sure, I flirted with a girl or two, but they always talked to me less and less and I got 'friendzoned' over time.

Seeing as I apparently have no idea what I;m doing, any advice? How do I talk to a girl I like, because I either end up a.) being embarrased when a girl seems into me and freeze up and not know what to do

or b.) realize that they aren't interested in me.

I've heard people tell me I'm cute, etc.. but I can't seem to follow through and let a girl know how I feel. How do I do that without screwing up?

I can submit a picture of myself if that would help at all.

Ask a girl out on a date. The longer you wait to do so, the higher chance she thinks you just want to be friends. If a girl likes you, she will know just as soon as you know you like her. Just ask her out go on a date. Go eat icecream, hold her hand. Go sit on a park bench, put your arm over her shoulder, sit close, engage in deep conversation looking her in the eyes, move closer. If she is not into you, then she will bail at any point in the process. If she doesn't bail, keep going.

also use embarrassing moments to come across as charming by pointing it out and laughing at it. Nobody is perfect, and girls spend most of their time self-judging to really give a fuck if you freeze up for a moment.
