OP, you've got to realize a couple of things - most importantly, that while women have a TON of "suitors," most of those guys are just like "hey I want to fuck you." So in the sense that women can get laid easier? You're right.

But that's not what makes a relationship or compatibility, and (most) women aren't just tallying off a checklist of who has the best traits until they make a decision. These things are based off of chemistry and a bunch of other unseen factors. People come in all shapes and sizes and everyone's tastes are different, so it's pointless to get discouraged just because there's a bunch of other people interested.

Second, yeah, don't let online dating dictate to you what the real world is actually like. I'm friends with a girl that is frankly no prize catch - single mom, unemployed, kinda chubby, spends her spare money going to raves and high on shit, and she still gets a ton of messages that she's shown me - all messages saying "hey," or "can I worship your feet," or "you're a fucking cunt for not replying to me," or some variant of the same shitty message. And it's normally from fat old dudes, guys with no profile filled out, or other sad sacks. That's why women just give up weeding through that shit and just let their inboxes get full and never log in again.

If you approach women in life with a confident, non-sleazy demeanor, you'll get a girl pretty easily. The key is now finding the right one.
